The Team RED SPL 15.1 is a competition-grade 15-inch subwoofer built for extreme output. With 6000W RMS power handling, a 663oz ferrite magnet, and a dual 1-ohm voice coil configuration, it's designed to move serious air in SPL applications, being ideally suited to "DB Drag" style competition. The 88.5mm voice coil uses flat wire windings for maximum power transfer, and 23mm of linear excursion keeps it controlled under heavy load. At 41.5kg, this is not a casual upgrade – it requires a properly braced ported enclosure (approximately 120 litres, tuned around 37Hz) and substantial amplification to perform as intended. Break-in at moderate levels is recommended before full use.
